VALDOSTA — It’s been said that dog is man’s best friend. Well, the Azalea City Animal Hospital couldn’t agree more. In fact, they’ve gone beyond dogs and believe an animal is a man’s best friend.
Doctors of Veterinary Medicine, Michael A. Delaney and Myron D. Graham have joined forces to provide local city residents a place to bring their animals to receive adequate healthcare.
Established by the late Dr. Davis in the 1970s, the Azalea City Animal Hospital is located at 2609 Bemiss Road in its brand new facility. From the outside to the inside, staff members finally have a space to call their own.
“We have a laid back atmosphere,” said office manager Heather Delaney. “Everyone gets along very well. Almost like our own little family.”
After 30 years of great service, what’s the secret behind it all?
“Our mission behind the mission, is to provide great service,” said Dr. Delaney. “You can do everything to animals that can be done for humans. There’s kidney transplants, cancer treatment, hip replacements. But of course, our goal is to provide all of that for a reasonable price.”
Pets have become more than just animals. From the beginning of time, they’ve been considered companions and a respected member of the family. The animal hospital understands that.
“Everyone at Azalea City Animal Hospital understands the importance of the the bond you have with your pet. We love what we do and we take our work very seriously,” said the Azalea City Animal Hospital staff. “When you bring your pets in for any reason, you can be sure that our staff will provide the kind of care that your beloved family member deserves.”
Premium care is what the animal hospital strives to provide to local city customers. The hospital caters to cats, dogs, and any animal able to fit through the door, in order to extend their services to the greatest amount of clientele.
During the month of December, the hospital will give away free bandanas to all pets recieving a bath, a little incentive to show customer appreciation.
