VALDOSTA — After it was learned that statistics to Tuesday night's men's basketball game between Valdosta State at Fort Valley State were input incorrectly, new statistics have been released by the Valdosta State athletic department.

With the new release, Blazer forward Josh Sparks has been awarded his first-ever collegiate triple-double.

The new records indicate that Sparks scored a game-high 23 points, while hauling in 15 rebounds and finishing with 10 blocks on the night.

Initial statistics had Sparks with just five blocks. But after viewing the game film, it was determined that Sparks was not rewarded with five blocks, thus leaving him with a double-double.

The Blazers won the game 82-66.

Valdosta State is now 8-1 this season and hosts Coastal Georgia Tuesday night at the P.E. Complex.
